Jane Roberts Seth Item ID: #29The Magical Approach: Seth Speaks About the Art of Creative Living (Jane Roberts)Product Information:
Item DescriptionThe Seth books are world-renowned for comprising one of the most profound bodies of work ever written on the true nature of reality. In this brand new volume of original material, Seth invites us to look at the world through another lens –– a magical one. Seth reveals the true, magical nature of our deepest levels of being, and explains how we have allowed it to become inhibited by our own beliefs and conventional thinking.
The Magical Approach teaches us how to live our lives spontaneously, creatively, and according to our own natural rhythms. It helps us to discover and tune into our natural, instinctive behavior. By applying the principles in this book, readers will learn to trust their impulses and discover the highest expression of their creativity. “We are indeed dealing with two entirely different approaches to reality and to solving problems –– methods we will here call the rational method and the magical one. The rational approach works quite well in certain situations, such as mass production of goods, or in certain kinds of scientific measurements –– but all in all the rational method, as it is understood and used, does not work as an overall approach to life, or in the solving of problems that involve subjective rather than objective measurements or calculations. The magical approach has far greater weight, if you use it and allow yourselves to operate in that fashion, for it has the weight of your basic natural orientation.” Item Reviews5 Responses to “The Magical Approach: Seth Speaks About the Art of Creative Living (Jane Roberts)”Leave a Reply |

I love the Seth Books, and bought this one inspite of some of the reviews. However, it does not live up to the other books such as “Seth Speaks” and “Unknown Realities vol 1 and 2″. In fact what I liked most about it was it wasn’t filled up with pages and pages of notes from Robert Butts. The Magical Approach is 17 sessions that were given while Jane and Seth were producing another book. Some of Robert Butt’s essays are just too much for these books, as I would rather read what Seth has to say and not so much of a commentary.
I would pick this one last if you feel you need to read the whole collection. Start with “Seth Speaks, and the Nature of Personal Reality and you will get the jist of the message.
If you’ve read The Secret, and any other books related to manifesting excellent dreams, then look “beyond” what those authors have suggested… dip into Seth’s advice for living a flowing, magical existence where ALL answers are given, in the moment, as easily as you draw your next breath. Amazingly insightful.
AMAZON SHIPPED MY BOOKS LOOSELY IN A ‘WAY TOO BIG BOX’ ALLOWING ALL THEM TO OPEN AND FOLD BACK ON THEMSELVES CREATING PERMANENT PAGE DAMAGE. SETH WOULD BE ASHAMED OF WHAT AMAZON DOES TO HIS BOOKS.
Like many of the reviewers I’ve read most the Seth books. But, unlike many other Magical Approach reviewers this is one of my favorites and, in my opinion, one the most powerful Seth books. What is interesting is that I really had to put a lot of thought into the message to fully understand it, but once I did it had a major impact on my life and the way I see things.
In a nutshell Seth helps us see how we reach our goals in life and what work needs to be done by us vs. what work is “done for us” by the universe. Our job in this life is to know what we want and to keep focused on the ideal outcome. We don’t have to worry about the thousands of details that might go into accomplishing our particular vision, especially all the things that might go wrong. Another key part of our work is to enjoy the moments of our life as they unfold. And we can in fact do this because we are getting assistance.
On a totally pragmatic level this book has had a major impact on my peace of mind. I do not worry nearly as much as I used to and have much more faith that what I desire will manifest if I simply keep my mind on it, trust my intuition and enjoy the moments. This is a wonderful knowing. And, best of all, my dreams are materializing, it’s just easier and more fun now. I believe this is how we are meant to live – the natural life. So many of us just get off track.
This is one of Seth’s best – an easy and accessiblee book exploring the magic power of creative thinking.
To paraphrase Seth elsewhere: the god principle (as it would come close to our god concept) is really about the urge to be. All reality is expressed intent; it is open-ended and limitless> So is our own potential, even though we may experience a limited amount of that creative freedom in our current form.
The gist then is not to worry about how it all coems to be – simply be creative and try things out. Have an adventure in life and enjoy it too, no fretting and worrying. If you believe in your own well-being then you are well and like magic, things come together. For that you need to hold onto a dash of childlike innocence and wonder.
It is one of those books I recommend to my clients and acquaintances.
