The funny thing is that I have recently re-read this book and it seems that Clinton would be far more desirable then what we have now. I think that goes to show just how bad the Obama administration really is. Clinton is shown to be the liar and the pig that he really is. Even when witnesses were relunctant to testify against him and told the truth Clinton made darn sure that the trashed them publically. Coulter as ususal footnotes everything and has her facts in line. The bad thing is that the book will appeal to rational and logical people which excludes the majority of liberals.
If you really want to know what the Clintion administration was like then this is a great book. The sad thing is that it is awful to realise that we have even an worst one now.
Nothing like Ann Coulter to keep me awake on the otherwise dull, dreary commute into the oblivion of our nation’s capitol every morning. I have read all her books on the Orange line (except Guilty- that’s next if I can ever make my way through a comparatively tame book by Bill O’Reilly) and am the only one in my car smiling, laughing and carrying on as if I’m going to a party instead of a nine-hour work day with a return commute at the far end! Perhaps I shouldn’t laugh at her exposure of how utterly depraved and criminal BJ Bill Clinton is but she portrays him as every bit as laughable as he is horrible, a joke on himself, his wife and his party- a sneering, smiling insult to everyone who has ever in their life been fool enough to vote Democrat. The gist of her book is that, as for many imperial democrats- FDR, JFK and LBJ before him, democracy and public service were for Bill Clinton merely a means to the power of high office and the power to abuse high office. It is as if the House of Guelph were installed in the White House and BJ Bill enthroned on some hapless female lackey on the nearest horizontal surface! A very good read if you don’t mind some inconvenient truths about a thorough scoundrel the drive-by media are wont to portray as a knight in shining armor. On the serious side, you will learn more about the law from an Ann Coulter book than your kids will learn about anything at all in a public school. High Crimes and Misdemeanors excels at teaching law to the lay reader just as it excels at expounding truth to us victims of the drive-by media. Three cheers for Ann the Great! Hurrah! Hurrah! Hurrah!
I feel I have to set the record straight and counter the Coulter basher’s ridiculous reviews. As will all of Ann’s books, this is intelligent, thoughtful, and articulate. A must read for liberals (victims and perpetrators of brainwashing).
Ann is well informed and refreshingly politically incorrect. (One wonders how much longer the liberals will allow her to speak out on their nonsense.)
I am no fan of William Clinton, his nasty wife, or any of his staff. This was a good book. I love to read about scandalous activities and this was no disapointment.
If you’re a conservative looking for a book to reinforce your predefined views of liberalism, this book is for you. If you’re looking for a little more substance, though, move along.
